An odd specimen, James can often be seem lurking in dark alleyways, flying around on his broomstick, or reading his latest Fyodor Doestoevsky novel. From time to time, however, he has also been known to grapple his way up numerous difficult boulder problems. His remarkable ascents include the first ascent of Curtain Call (V10), as well as the repeates of many hard lines including Dirty Ernies Revenge (V10) and Buckets of Blood (V9/10).
James is currently living in California but still remains one of the few strong dedicated climbers rising from Maryland. He has bouldered up to V12 and flashed V10 with ease. Click here to see his blog.
