Gabor Szekely

Gabor, although no longer living here, is one of the most accomplished climbers from Maryland. He has climbed V13 and 5.14b, as well as won numerous national and international competitions.

With the first ascents of Ultimate Doom (V11), Dirty Ernie's Revenge (V10), Full Chaos Roof (V9), and Mordor (V10), Gabor has done a lot to contribute to the list of hard boulders in Maryland. He has developed dozens of easier boulders as well, including the classics River Dyno (V5), Doom (V6), and Missing Link (V8).
